After viewing this outstanding website, you are to be congratulated on using your many aptitudes with your soaring altitudes in achieving a positive attitude toward St. Joseph High School, Class of 1961. In reviewing the yearbook photos, my memory brought back wonderful experiences of my days at St. Joseph High School. THOSE OF YOU WHO HAVE PUT YOUR KIDS THROUGH PRIVATE SCHOOLS AND COLLEGES HAVE EXPERIENCED THE FINANCIAL BURDEN OF PROVIDING A QUALITY EDUCATION. I AM STILL AMAZED THAT SO MANY OF US RECEIVED SUCH A FINE EDUCATION WITH ALL THE TRIMMINGS IN A MODERN LAKESIDE FACILITY FOR NEXT TO NO COST. I REMEMBER SOMETHING LIKE $150.00/YEAR WHEN WE STARTED. AMAZING!
OF COURSE IT WAS DUE TO A FACULTY OF MOSTLY MARIANISTS. WE SHALL ALWAYS OWE THE MARIANISTS MORE THAN WE CAN EVER HOPE TO REPAY FOR THE START WE GOT ON LIFE. LIVING IN DAYTON I CONTINUE TO SEE THE BENEFIT OF THE MARIANIST EDUCATION MISSION AT UD. WE WERE FORTUNATE!
