St. Joseph High School Class of 1961 - Coach Bill Gutbrod's Death and Being Honored in Life on Appreciation Night April 8, 2011

This gallery includes a photos of Coach's last trip to the school in his funeral procesion and his death notice.  Coach Bill Gutbrod passed away in November of 2012.  More text explaining the photos can be found in the gallery 'Look at Us Now.'

On April 8, 2011 hundreds of Viking followers met to honor THE coach, William Gutbrod.  The event was in the school gym, and included many of Coach's moe famous graduates from St. Joe's. Our 1961 class was represented by a full table of eight Vikings.  A video presentation for the evening was made by Tim Ryan and Bill McNally of our class, along with Neil McCormack, SJ (1970) of Cinecraft Productions.
