Gary Noel has written and published a delightful story book. It was written exclusively for his grandchildren. Each Christmas on their fifth birthday (I believe) Gary gathers the grandchildren around him and reads the new story he had written especially for that child. With a passel of grandchildren, it has become a Christmas tradition in the Noel family for Grandpa Noel to read a new story for a grandchild each year for many years now. Gary and I were talking at the reunion, and Gary had mentioned his wonderful project. I mentioned that he ought to publish these terrific stories as a book, and he did! I had forgotten to list Gary's book when it came out, but now I am happy to welcome Gary Noel to the pantheon of Class of 1961 published authors.
