Callahan, Paul.  Pat Rooney remembers Paul: 'I went to St. Philomena’s grade school with Paul from the first grade.  Paul lived two houses from Jim Moran, and they were one street from me.  We were friends through grade school and St. Joe’s.  We rode the bus together, and when I started driving, I drove Paul, Jim Moran, and Vincent Vavpot to school.  I especially remember on some mornings when I couldn’t drive due to car troubles, Paul came through by driving his brother’s car ('57 Ford) to school.  We had a lot of laughs through all those years.  Unfortunately I didn’t keep in touch with Paul after high school.  We all went our separate ways.  I did run into Paul once in awhile at a friend’s gas station, getting service.  I knew he worked as an accountant.  I was surprised and saddened to hear about his death.  May his soul rest in peace.'
