Boeckerman, Brother Paul (Assistant Principal and Mathematics Teacher).  Brother Boeckerman remained a Marianist for his lifetime.  He passed away in 1985.  He was a tough teacher in math.  I (Dave Pfriem) got my only failing grade at Saint Joe's from him during my senior year in advanced trigonometry.  My dad grounded me for three weeks, but my mom prevailed and gave me a reprieve.

Just after the last classes of the year were over, including tests, I went to the school on some fool's errand, driving my brother's 1959 Ford.  I turned around close to Brother Boeckerman's office, and as I did, I saw him in his office.  I waved.  He looked at me, and with typical seriousness that probably had some humor in it, he gave me the finger!

Brother Boeckerman remained a Marianist for life.  He died in 2004.
