Susnik, Dennis. Frank Sodnicar tells a story about Dennis, who was a pitcher on the Class D baseball team that was loaded with Viking talent. 'Dennis had a big, slow curve ball,' says Frank. It confused both left-handed and right-handed hitters...for about two innings. After that our outfielders had to get ready to run, because opposing batters had figured it out and would begin to hit it a long way.' It was sure that we could count on Dennis for those two innings, anyway. It will be nice to get the teammates together at the reunion and remember Dennis, Hank Zalokar, Jim Prib, and other wonderful Vikings whom we've lost.
