Tommasone, Dennis.  'Dennis W. Tommasone, D.D.S. passed away Feb. 7 2012 at the age of 69.  Dennis was a dentist and a tenured professor at Cas Western Reserve University School of Dentistry for 28 years.  His brother David was also a graduate of our class. Rest in peace, Dennis.'  Submitted by Bill Banach.

Classmate Jack Burke noted that he was also in Band with Frank LeMay and the Tommasone Brothers.

Classmate Frank LeMay grew up with both Tommasone brothers. Here are Frank's thoughts on both of them:

'I could not write a memory of just Dave Tommasone (who passed away in 2024), as he and his twin Dennis were very close to each other as well as to me.

I have a lot of memories of the twins.  They lived about 1/2 mile from my home.  Through several summers I would spend the evenings with them.  Both were in the band at Saint Joe's with me and were quite talented.  Dennis played the cornet and Dave played the clarinet.  They both challenged and won first chair in their sections.  Dave and Jim Christie vied for the first chair of the woodwind section while Dennis and Gary Heil fought it out in the brass section.

Dennis was in my wedding party but Dave was stationed at the Great Lakes Navel station near Milwaukee.  Their spouses Linda (Dennis) and Judy (Dave) and Diane and I  often triple dated during our college years.

I could go on with more, but that those stories would fill a chapter in my memoir.'
