McDonough, James (Physical Education and Health).  Bob Ross shares this about Mr. McDonough: 'During our sophomore year, Mr. McDonough was the Junior Varsity basketball coach. I was one of 55 fellow Vikings who tried out for his team which would carry fifteen players.  At the end of one practice, Mr. McDonough posted the names of the fifteen he selected for his roster.  Along with Binx Maglicic, I was one of the two to be finally cut by him. He was a great coach, and a very fair one. He prepared this JV team to eventually go 23-1 two years later.'

Dave Pfriem adds: 'He was such a wonderful and quiet man.  He taught us freshman health, and I remember some times that I had to strain to hear him.  Yet he achieved marvelous results from his track and cross country boys.  I had heard that he had passed away, but I do not know when.'
