Pierman, Richard. Â 'People thought that because Rich was so smart and that he was consistently getting 95's and up for grades, that he was always serious. Â We did our homework together (I never would have passed physics or advanced math classes without his help) so we could get it done faster in order to drive up the hill to Regina High School. Â I was dating his cousin Phyllis, and he was dating another girl from Regina. Â Boyfriends weren't allowed to pick up their girlfriends, but Rich could pick up his cousin. Â It just happened that Rich's girlfriend Mary Fait and I were in the car, as well. Â Believe it or not, we had lots of laughs doing homework together, too. Â Rich was a good friend.' Bob Ross also remembers Rich: 'Rich and I went to St. William's for elementary school. I remember him acting out in class sometimes. But once he got to St. Joe's, he had the second best grades of our entire class. He seemed to have changed a great deal between grade school and high school. May he rest in peace.'
