Raglow, John. John passed away in June of 2016. He was a friend of many classmates. Harry Waldron has this remembrance of John: John Raglow, or JR, as he was commonly referred to, was the last of a great family of ten. I am certain that I could not come up with the accurate number of nephews, nieces and grand nephews and grand nieces etc. John and I were buds for a little over 60 years, beginning in1956 when we moved from St. Aloysius in Cleveland to St.William's in Euclid.

We played baseball, basketball, and grew up playing ball, along with our bud Jack Dailey, who passed away about a year and a half ago. We were pretty--uh--inseparable until our alphabetical homerooms at St. Joe's temporarily separated us. BTW, Taiwan Bob was part of our clan on the ball teams and back yard jams at Jack Dailey's house.

Back to the Raglow relatives briefly, John's oldest brother Paul was a surgeon. He and his spouse had eight or nine children and at least one of his children had eight children, and then it went on and on from there, and that was only one of John's brothers! The Christmas gatherings were awesome and overflowing. They also would gather in the later years at Paul's lake house in Michigan when the local motels would be filled.

John was a long-time and very good medical equipment salesman, just as his Dad was, well respected by the Cleveland Clinic and University Hospital surgeons with whom he interacted. To say the least, John was a friend to many, a husband, father, uncle, godfather, great uncle etc. He was a very special friend who will be missed by many.
