Stih, Norman. Affectionately known as 'Sweeper' because of his basketball rebounding abilities, Norm was one of the favorites among his classmates. He passed away in August of 2018 at age 75.

Classmate Bob Ross remembers Norm this way: 'With you, I remember the Sweeper cleaning the boards, whipping the ball down court to Templin, Pongonis, Waldron, or whomever, and bringing home another Viking victory as the '61 team marched to its unbeaten season.'

Classmate Bill Banach was in several classes with Norm. He remembers him as shy but friendly.
